Greater Good is a non-profit volunteer service organization aimed at enriching lives through education, sports and cultural engagement.
There are various programs which volunteers can sign up for, depending on their interests and suitability. Anyone aged 18 years and older are welcome to apply for our programs. Although not required, our programs are well suited for anyone with a background in education, early childhood development and sports development (i.e. coaching).
The children we work with come from local communities where opportunities are not always available. Our programs accommodate children aged between 0 and 13 years old, in daycare and Primary School grade R-7.

Our Mission
Our mission is to assist in improving the lives of children living in the impoverished areas. We believe that education holds the key to a brighter future. Therefore our main vision is to see children flourish in their school careers through a holistic approach to a child’s wellbeing that includes: social, emotional, physical and mental.
Non-profit organization
The Greater Good Development Network is a registered non-profit organization in the Republic of South Africa.
We are registered as a NPO with the Department of Social Development and as a Public Benefit Organization (PBO) with the South African Revenue Service (SARS); granting us tax exemption status.
As a non-profit organization we strive to continuously improve and be accountable to all our stakeholders.
