Apart from our daily programs, we also have spontaneous initiatives which we participate in on a weekly basis.
There are many opportunities to work in the community outside of your assigned program. This is a chance for you to build relationships and trust with community members.
These initiatives include but are not limited to:
- Community gardening.
- Feeding underprivileged.
- Landscaping
- Beach Cleanup
- Music engagement (working with local bands)
- Dance
- Holiday Program (during school breaks)
Although these activities are not compulsory, it is a wonderful opportunity for you to work closely in the community. It will allow you to gain a better understanding of the culture and ways of living.
